Today on Chelsea’s Collection…
The Same, But Different
So I’ve been talking about some changes that are going to be happening around here and the time has come to share what’s been going on behind the scenes.
Classy Chic & Chardonnay will be no longer. I’ve decided I want to get a little more creative and challenge myself by moving my site to a self-hosted site. If you’re following me now, I hope you move along with me in this new journey and don’t worry… it’s going to be the same, just a little different! Same me, same sale shopping, even the same format, just a new domain and new outfits!…. http://chelseascollection.com
It was really important to me to create a space that not only I love, but something you all will hopefully find appealing and functional as well. You can now shop my favorite pieces in my side bar, instagrams, and even check out my full “boutique” of what’s in my closet or on my wish list! Everything has social media sharing buttons (so share away!) and I’m working on a bunch of little extras!
It’s been fun (and a little defeating at times) to do things on my own. (To get things in the right place with the right dimensions and look the way I want it to isn’t as easy as you’d think!) But I’m excited and re-energized and have some really cool things coming up!
I know moving my site and having a new domain is a big risk but what’s life without a little adventure?!
I’m going to continue to keep CC&C up and running but my new stuff will be on Chelsea’s Collection so I hope you check out the new site! Any & all feedback and/or comments are always welcome!! Thanks so much for reading these posts and can’t wait for you to read what I have in store! xo
Makeup by One-Direction
You guys… I have turned into a beauty junkie. It all started when I decided I needed to switch up my beauty routine and try some new products. Well if you’ve ever been in that spot you’ve probably gone to the internet and searched “best beauty products.” Well let me tell you, there are a lot of beauty products that are deemed “the best.” And I can’t stop trying new ones.
Well now it’s my turn to introduce you to a new beauty brand by a boy band…
You might have heard of them before… One Direction?! The beauty bin came with nail polish (glitter!!), lip gloss, lipstick, eye shadow, oil blotting sheets, mascara, and a chunky eyeliner. Pretty much everything that you need for your beauty routine to take you from day to night! So now you can love on One-Direction all sorts of ways… the best way would probably be jamming out while wearing their bold shades, unique formula and infused with limited edition collectable packaging. Makeup from One Direction is fun, bold, often irreverent, with a touch of cheeky mischievousness.
This limited-edition cosmetics collection is launching mid-August 2014 at Macy’s and select other major retailers worldwide. Be on the lookout, you don’t want to miss out on this craze! And in the meantime you can check it out here: http://www.facebook.com/MakeupbyOneDirection
And remember how I was telling you how big things are going to be happening around here at CC&C… well it’ll be happening next week! And it’s a whole new site! Wahoo!!

D’Orsary Pump
Leopard / Blue / Black
Pointed toe pumps made a comeback, now it’s time to spot light the d’ Orsay pump. Since it’s almost back to school time, lets define the d’ Orsay pump. A d’Orsay style pump is a woman’s shoe in which the vamp of the shoe is cut away very close to the toe box, and the sides are cut away, revealing the arch of the foot. Aka… very sexy, and a definitely must have for fall!
Remember to keep your eye out for some big changes around here!! I’m getting excited!

Vested
I’m a fan of the maxi. It might possibly be the easiest thing to throw on for any summertime occasion. Dinners, parties, errands, exploring the town… a maxi dress has you covered! And the best part about a maxi dress- no need to make sure legs are perfectly tan and shaven, no one will even know!
I wore this maxi out to dinner at a little hole in the wall Mexican place. You know the kind where the walls are covered in cactus murals and pinatas hang from the ceiling. (My favorite kind of Mexican restaurant!!) I almost felt like I blended in with the decor since the colors in this dress were just about matching the colors all over. I wasn’t mad about it one bit!
P.S. Big changes are going to be happening around here! I’m redoing/moving my site!! More details to come soon! Hope you all follow along! xo

Palms
From the beginning of summer I’ve been crushing on palm prints. No secret that I’m a fan of summer and tropical places, and when I wear the print I’m instantly put in a better mood! Bright colors, flowy skirt, and a light material that isn’t too heavy for those tropical temps! I love this dress, dying over this romper, and how adorable are these espadrilles! I wish that it wasn’t already August because I don’t know if I can transition these into the snowy months! But maybe. Or maybe I’ll just have to plan lots of tropical getaways!

Countdown
It is the 31st of July, which means tomorrow is August. August! How/Where did this summer go! We’re more than half way over and I have so much more I want to do! And the as much as I’m loving the new fall styles popping up in stores, I’m putting a stop to my sweater, long sleeve, and anything but sum mer wear buys! Luckily it stays pretty warm through September but I’m going to cramp as much as I can into this final summer month! Here’s my “I absolutely have to do these” to-do list…
1. Have a picnic
2. Cheer on the Washington Nationals (again)
3. Road trip to a local little town… Middleburg, Annapolis, or Gainesville
4. Take a sunset walk down by the monuments
5. Watch an outdoor movie
What’s left on your to-do list before Autumn arrives?
