I’m a fan of the maxi. It might possibly be the easiest thing to throw on for any summertime occasion. Dinners, parties, errands, exploring the town… a maxi dress has you covered! And the best part about a maxi dress- no need to make sure legs are perfectly tan and shaven, no one will even know!
I wore this maxi out to dinner at a little hole in the wall Mexican place. You know the kind where the walls are covered in cactus murals and pinatas hang from the ceiling. (My favorite kind of Mexican restaurant!!) I almost felt like I blended in with the decor since the colors in this dress were just about matching the colors all over. I wasn’t mad about it one bit!
P.S. Big changes are going to be happening around here! I’m redoing/moving my site!! More details to come soon! Hope you all follow along! xo
Some of my favorite moments in the Spring is right after it rains. You can smell it in the air. The flowers are quenched and the world is at peace. Those are the moments I love to take a quick walk outside, reflect and enjoy the little things! And what makes it even better is when the weather is warm enough to wear your favorite weekend wear. For me, as of late, that has been boyfriend jeans, a comfortable top, and as promised in Friday’s post, my panama hat. I did not even blow dry my hair this day! Just air dried and out the door… so you’re welcome for having these pictures in the shadows!
Jeans, Gap (here) / Top, Dolled Up by Fang (similar) / Flip flops, Old Navy (here) / Purse, Tory Burch (here) / Bracelets, Kate Spade (here, similar) / Hat, J.Crew (here)
P.S. Sorry for the late post, it’s been a crazy Wednesday!! Hope everyone has a happy hump day!
I don’t know if it’s the temps sky rocketing or the millions of summer-esq pictures being posted on pinterest but I am SO excited to break out my panama hat this weekend. Yup, I’m going to throw it on even if it doesn’t exactly go with my outfit. Actually I take that back, Panama hats go with just about every outfit.
Last summer it was a staple so much that the edges became a little floppy. I picked up thispanama hat from J.Crew and it is as stiff as can be and just asking to be broken in! Plus it’s super affordable compared to some of the others out there! Here’s some of the pictures I’m loving for Panama topped inspiration!
