For the past couple of seasons we’ve been seeing pattern mixing everywhere and I love love the trend but it definitely takes some confidence to pull off some of the mixtures. For those who are still a little hesitant to try the trend a great way to ease into it, without the “wow” factor, is mixing different textures with subtle prints. Exhibit A: This tweed skirt from J.Crew (which I scored during their recent sale for $19.98!) and my favorite watercolor peplum from H&M. Both have whites, greens and a little shimmer but totally different textures which creates a contrast that is easy to feel confident about!
