I’ve always been a fan of this seed, but after doing some reading turns out coconuts are good for you, and not just a tropical flavor! After doing some research I’ve found that there are tons of uses for/ benefits of coconuts…
The milk in a coconut contains vitamins, minerals and electrolytes which are all critical when staying hydrated and healthy in the summer heat! The milk of a coconut contains potassium, calcium and chloride.
The nutrients in coconuts are used in tons of beauty products due to the moisture it gives to skin and hair
The saturated fat in a coconuts is short-chained so the body can quickly turn the fat into energy instead of it going to your problem areas! The medium-chain fatty acids in the milk are composed of lauric acid which helps to boost the immune system.
Coconut milk is a dairy-free alternative for those who are lactose intolerant or allergic to animal milk as well as soy-free, gluten-free and even though it’s called a nut, coconuts are nut-free!
